I have to say, I am very intrigued by the ingredient quinoa, and I am planning on incorporating it into a recipe sometime soon.. It seems that everyone is talking about this mysterious ingredient, and many healthy recipes use it! Is quinoa the hipster of the food world?
Anyone out there on the interwebs have any favorite quinoa recipes to share? 🙂
I am a little worried about quinoa since is apparently closely related to beets. Beets have been on my TOP 10 MOST HATED FOODS list since I first came across them as a child. At least quinoa has a tan/brownish color, so even if it does stain anything it touches, it won’t turn things PURPLE like those damn beets!
